G-1 (Hidden peak) is the world 11th highest mountain situating in the north Baltistan (karakoram)

Gasherbrum in local language means "Shining Wall". There are six Gasherbrum Peaks. Gasherbrum I, also known as Hidden Peak (8068 meters/26,470ft), is the highest peak among them. A French Expedition led by H. De Segogne made first attempt in 1936, but they could not climb beyond Camp V at a height of 6797 meters. However, in 1958 an American Expedition led by Niche Clinch made the first ascent of Gasherbrum

1934: A big international expedition, organized by the Swiss G.O. Dyhrenfurth, explores both peaks. Two climbers get to a height of 6300 meters.

Sylvaine Saudan, who summated Gasherbrum1 and skied down the normal route with a variant to the foot of the mountain. Gasherbrum I was designated K5 (meaning the 5th peak of the Karakoram) by T.G. Montgomery in 1856 when he first spotted the p 1934: A big international expedition, organized by the Swiss G.O. Dyhrenfurth, explores both peaks. Two climbers get to a height of 6300 meters. v    Gasherbrum expedition plan itinerary

 DAY1-2  Islamabad. Arrival in Pakistan, briefing at Ministry of tourism / Alpine club

Afternoon explore the Islamabad the Modern capital of Pakistan, visit the worlds biggest Faisal Mosque with its modern architecture, Damn-e- Koh to have the panoramic view of Islamabad and Murree hills.

DAY 3-5 Islamabad to Skardu  (2280m).  

Ø       1st day Morning after breakfast drive to Chilas, enroute visit the Taxila museum, Excavated archeological sites of Bhirmound, Sirkap and impressive well preserved Julian Monastery. after brief visit of the sites we continue drive to Chilas .stop for lunch, at Besham we will continue our  drive to Chilas along the Indus River passing through the green valleys in Indus Kohistan, visit the 2nd century Rock carvings at Shatial and continue drive to Chilas. Overnight hotel

Ø       2ndAfter breakfast leave early 5;30 to Skardu its will tale 9 hrs driving, stop at As take Nala for lunch, the place really impressive and joyful for short time relaxation.

Ø        3rd day Sightseeing. to Satpara lake  Fort of Baltistan over night in Hotel Full day for last minute preparations, Overnight at K-2 Motel. All meals included.

DAY 6 Askoli   (3000m).

Ø       After breakfast drive over the exciting jeep trek through the beautiful Shigar valley to the remote village of Askole which is the last inhabited place on this trek.  Over night in tent

DAY 7-13 Askoli to G-1 BC.

Ø       Ist day After breakfast 7 hours include lunch exciting trek which is considered the most challenging and panoramic trek in the world. After crossing the huge Biafo glacier trek to camp at Jhulla which s located next to the pulley cart river crossing point. Overnight in tent (3025m)

Ø       2nd day After early breakfast, cross the river on the pulley cart and trek through the bushy forest and sandy banks of Braldu river to the green campsite of Paiju. pver night in tent(3370m)

Ø       3rd  day free day in payu, bit hiking for acclimatization on Payu hell from you will viewed the King of the mountain & Broad peak, also will get  physical fitness.

Ø        4th  day Trek down to the river bed and reach the black snout of Baltoro glacier. After climbing the snout traverse to the right hand side and climb up to the moraine Trek along the moraine of Baltoro glacier to the last green campsite of Urdukas situated on a steep slope over looking the glacier and surrounding peaks including the famous Payu peak, Hulabia, Muztagh peak, Trengo Towers. Overnight in tent at Urdukas (4050m)

Ø       5th day Descend to the glacier and walk to the campsite of Goro located in the middle of the glacier. Enroute you will see some of the most spectacular mountains in the world including Masherbrum (7821m) and the first glimpse of the magnificent Gasherbrum-4 located near Concordia. Over night in tent at Goro 2, (4150m) Often the night is coldest essential to wear worm jumpers, numerous mountains over seven thousand meters and four peaks over eight thousand meters. This campsite has a magnificent view of G-4 (7745m)  Mustagh twor (7655m)  K-2 (8611m), Broad peak (8047m) & the Gasherbrum rang

Ø       .6th day trekk to shams (4600m) over night in tent.7th day will reach on BC Hidden peak.

DAY 14-20 Camp 1 (5900m).

Route condition :   At the beginning take 2 day to explore the route then you have to  start at 2 a.m. at night which is longest distance to camp 1.the route full crevasses, some parts are steep but mostly flat  ,camp site is huge glacier for tents ,G-1 stand the right side of you, But the other Gasherbrum G-3,G-4.G-5,G-6,G-7 are stand on your left hand.

Average time     Beginning of the climbing its take 6-7 hours to camp 1.

Requirements      The route is not technical indeed safety is more impotent, and best way to fellow the safety rope during ascent, make 8m distance between 4 roped team, The mountain guide will  you briefs about the climb   before leaving.

Risks Avalanche crevasses. Unfavorable weather.  

DAY 21-27 Camp 2 (6600m).

Route condition:  Start at 4: 30 to climb the normal route, which you have to walk on 5-6km snow flat flow the glacier from middle to reach the ice wall from the beginning of the ice siarak ascent 2 hours to camp 2. Which is located at the view point of china from there you viewed the complete scenery of the landscape of the massive mountains .The camp is enough for 10-20 tents Over night in tent.

Average time:  4-6 hours depend on your physical fitness.  But on high altitude demand the study walk.

Requirements:  Use the safety 3-4 men team rope. It is very necessary to make 8m distances among each climber.

Risks:  crevasses, avalanche chance from both sides of Gasherbrum, high altitude sickness, 

DAY 28-34 Camp 3 (7400m).

Route condition:  This part is really hard, technical and involve with many risks. Before leave to your camp must be recognize avalanche below japans colwa. Because there is 100% avalanche fall. Start at 4-o-clock early in the morning. Japans colwa located at the direction of sunrise. The routes condition has rock and blue ice.  Mountain guide will take three days to fix ropes. All the techniques are use during ascent to camp 3. Camping place enough for 10 tents. Over  night in tents.

Average time: 6-7 hours from camp 2 and depending on your physical fitness.

Requirements: all way to camp 3 use fixed rope, rock pitons, ice screws, and all climbing requirements for technical base, use snow shawl to make a plate form.

Risks:  100% avalanche fall, rope damages, rock fall, and technical mistakes.

DAY 35-41Climb Gasherbrum 8068m back BC

Start at 12oclock at midnight before one hour to leave, prepare your personal stuff, and climbing gears. In the beginning climb 200m-snow cap and follow the left rock ridge to camp 4 and continue climb to summit. The climbing route stand at 50 degrees consists on blue ice and snow ridge.

Average Time: It takes 8-9 hours to reach on the top (8068m).

Requirements: Often the climbers do self-climbing on each mountain such from camp 4 to summit. Only use the basic technical skills during the period of climbing. Almost use Ice axe, crampon.

Risks: Avalanche, rock fall, frostbite, technical faults and careless descent.

DAY 42-44 BC: After hard work necessary to have nice rest, During this period High porters carry down all climbing gears and close the all camps, 

DAY 45-47 BC to Hushe village.

Ø       Start of the trek out, via the Vigne Glacier. A whole day of trekking (8 hrs) through Concordia and up the Vigne Glacier, past some of the most spectacular mountain scenery on earth. The Gondogoro La and descent to the Hushe Valley. The Gondogoro La (5,585m) is a climb in its own right, axes and crampons are a must. Very soon after the descent we find grass, flowers and birds 

      perfume and music after 6 weeks in a mountain desert. A day of contrasts. Walk to Hushe village. A long, glorious day strolling down the verdant Hushe valley. Sharp spires of perfect granite rake the sky, the fang of Layla Peak being particularly impressive. Our last night under canvas. Drive to Skardu. After a 7 hour drive, a hotel room with shower and soft bed awaits.           

DAY 48-52    Hushe to Islamabad.

Jeep drive to Skardu stay over night at Hotel

2nd day costar to Chilas over night in  Hotel,

3rd day drive to Islamabad, over night in Hotel

4th day Debriefing at Ministry of tourism,

5th day in safe hands flight to home.
