Qudrat Ali is one of the Pakistanis prominent climbers. He is climbing since the age of 20. He was born in 1969 in Shimshal, northern Areas Pakistan. By the ageo f 22 he had climbed some 6000m peaks with his friend shaheen and foreign climbers. In 1998 he he joined french focus expedition to climb gasherbrum 2 but not succeed. However this was initial step of Qudrat Ali's career. In 1999 he jouned the amical alpine Broad peak expedition which came to be the first success in his 8000er career. Together with his teacher, the german ralf dujmovits. he then climbed twice G-2 (8035m), Nanga Parbat (8125m) and Manaslu (Nepal in 2000-03/01/02.

Qudrat Ali is not only climber but also a professional mountaineer. He has led his clients to 6000, 7000 and also on 8000m peaks.
