From here you trek on one of the offshoots of the legendry Silk Road, traversed by camels and yak caravans of ancient times from the bazaars of the Samarkand and Bukhara of central Asia to the Indian Sub Continent. Its an enchanting land of extensive high grazing pastures with serene lakes set against the back drop of high towering snow caped peaks and
lush green meadows. wakhan corridor has been served as the hot line between the
two great empires of the Great Game. many explorers has tried to approach this
uninhabited plateau including the famous Geoghrapher of Royal Geographic Society
who has killed at the Darkot village at the foot of Darkot Pass in 1870.
The locals call this the roof of the world as it serves the beautiful landscape, large herds of Yaks, Goats and sheeps can be seen grazing across the lush and green meadows of this high plateau. From here trek down to the Yasin valley through the Darkot pass, or ascend to the path leading to Chilinji Pass 5290 meters and enter to Chupurson valley in upper Hunza. The trek ends at Babagundi ziarat, an ancient Sufi shrine with a large followers and from here you drive by four-wheel jeeps to Karakoram Highway and proceed to Hunza and Gilgit.

Day 08: Trek to Chikar. overnight in tents. Day 09: Trek to Darkot pas base camp. Overnight in tents. Day 10: Today we cross the Darkot Pass,a steep descend to Darkot village. overnight in tents. Day 11: Free day at Darkot village, visit the George Haywards monument and explore the sights. Overnight in tents. Day 12: Drive by jeeps to Gilgit, meals and ovrenight hotel. Day 13: Drive to besham, overnight hotel. Day 14: Drive to Islamabad, enroute visits the taxila archeological museum.overnight hotel. Day 15: Depart to home bind flight.

isolated Kalash valleys. Driving through the fabulous Hindukush and Hindu Raj
mountains to reach the yarkhun valley from where the exciting trek begins.
